Jalapeno Peach Jam

  1. Step 1
    Using an emulsifier or blender, blend fruit filling until smooth. Add diced jalapenos and blend well.

  2. Step 2
    Add mixture to a medium size saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and add 2 tablespoons of fruit pectin.

  3. Step 3
    Mixture will begin to thicken. Let cool slightly and then add to jelly jars which can be glass or plastic.

  4. Step 4
    Refrigerate and let cool completely. Jam may be stored for one week in refrigerator.

For less heat, only use 1 diced jalapeno. If added sweetness is desired add 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to mixer while boiling, prior to adding fruit pectin.
