Ingredients

Gratin

  • 1 (15 oz) can Lucky Leaf Pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup Musselman's Cinnamon Apple Sauce
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup minced apple

Topping

  • 1 1/2 cup panko
  • 3/4 cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded smoked gouda
  • 5 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

Directions

  1. Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 3.5qt casserole dish.

  2. Step 2
    In a large bowl add the pumpkin puree, apple sauce, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, & salt. Whisk to combine. Pour in creamy & whisk again. Add in the apples & stir in. Pour the mixture into a prepared casserole dish.

  3. Step 3
    Prepare the topping buy adding the panko, pecans, & gouda to a bowl and mix just to combine evenly. Add in the butter and mix to combine, coating evenly. Sprinkle the topping over evenly.

  4. Step 4
    Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the mixture is just barely jiggly. Set the oven to broil & and crisp up the topping for 1-2 minutes.
