Preheat oven to 350° F.
Pour fruit filling into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Top with dry cake mix. Pour butter evenly over top of cake mix.
Place in oven and bake 50-60 minutes or until cake is cooked through and edges are golden brown.
Remove and let cool. Top with Cool Whip if desired.
