So, I made this it tasted very good, but the crushed cookie mixture did not hold together to get it out of the dish when finished. Looked over the instructions again and still don’t get what I might have done wrong, but the bottom did not hold together so fell apart getting it out of pan. Any ideas as to what went wrong???? Thanks

    1. Newell Rinehart says:

The directions say to press the crumbled cookie and butter mixture into the baking pan, but you may want to try really tamping the mixture down with a hard, flat object if you’re having trouble with it crumbling. And be sure that it’s well chilled before serving. Happy baking!

This may sound silly, but do you remove the icing from between the cookies before crushing? 18 cookie pieces or 18 two part cookies?

    1. Laura Hauser says:

No need to remove the icing from between the cookies, just crush whole cookie sandwich. Enjoy!

  21. Teresa says:

If using Oreo cookies, do you separate the cookie from the filling?

  22. Teresa says:

If using Oreo cookies, do you separate the cookie from the filling? Also, 18 Teddy Grahams vs Oreos will make a different amount–can you be more specific?

    1. Laura Hauser says:

No need to separate the cookies and the filling.
