This Lucky Leaf Pumpkin Trifle is an easy, festive dessert that’s perfect for the holiday season. With layers of moist spice cake, creamy pumpkin cream cheese filling, and light whipped cream, it delivers warm, cozy flavors in every bite—without a lot of prep.
Made with Lucky Leaf 100% Pure Pumpkin, this trifle has a rich, classic pumpkin taste and a smooth texture that pairs beautifully with holiday spices. It’s an ideal make-ahead dessert for Christmas gatherings, winter parties, or anytime you want a simple yet impressive holiday treat.
Step 1
Prepare the spice cake according to the package directions. Let cool completely, then cut into 1–2 inch cubes and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the pumpkin purée and softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon, and mix until fully combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Step 4
To assemble the trifle, layer spice cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle dish or serving bowl. Top with a layer of pumpkin cream cheese mixture, followed by a layer of whipped cream.
Step 5
Repeat the layers once more. Finish with whipped cream and garnish with crumbled cake pieces, if desired.
