Gently fold cream cheese and half of blueberry pie filling together. Refrigerate remaining pie filling for later. Grease or spray a shallow 2 quart baking dish. Arrange half of the bread cubes in pan. Dot cream cheese mixture by teaspoon full over bread. Top with remaining bread cubes. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, syrup and milk. Pour over bread.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 20 minutes longer or until golden brown. Serve warm topped with a tablespoon of blueberry pie filling and a dollop of whipped topping.
