  • 1 cup LUCKY LEAF® Apple Butter
  • 1 10.75-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 pounds boneless beef round steak, cut into serving size pieces
  • 1 8-ounce container button mushrooms, sliced


  1. Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except onions, steak and mushrooms in large bowl.

  2. Step 2
    Place onions in bottom of 3 1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker. Layer on top with half of the steak pieces and then half of the mushrooms. Pour half of the apple butter mixture over the top.

  3. Step 3
    Repeat the layers.

  4. Step 4
    Cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until meat is fork tender.
