Ingredients

  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ¾ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 can LUCKY LEAF® Premium Caramel Apple Fruit Filling & Topping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°. Grease muffin tins. Set aside.
Mix shortening, butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Mix until combined.
In a small bowl mix together Tbsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon.
Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and then roll in cinnamon sugar mix.
Place into muffin tin and flatten slightly.
Bake 10 - 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and place spoonfuls of apple fruit filling onto each cookie cup. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
